     Aloha Island was the first purveyor of 100% Pure Kona Coffee to offer Espresso Roast Pure Kona coffee.  Pure Kona Coffee is a naturally low acid and delicate coffee with a unique smooth texture.  Understandably, to roast Kona coffee's very special green coffee beans to a full espresso roast level requires great skill and attention to detail.  Our Master Roaster roasts our Kona Coffee in small batches (only 31 pounds) and stands guard and watches for exactly the right moment when the coffee has reached the perfect espresso roast level.  As a result, our Pure Kona Espresso is full of very rich espresso flavor and retains the extraordinary smooth texture that has made Kona Coffee so famous (see the Story of Kona Coffee here).
